According to Taiwan media reports on July 7, 2025, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the latest trade sanctions decision today, preliminarily ruling that there is dumping of stainless steel coils exported from Taiwan to the United States.

This is another trade restriction measure recently imposed by the United States on relevant Chinese products.

The survey shows that from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024, the sales price of stainless steel coils produced in Taiwan was lower than the normal value in the U.S. market.

Among them, the weighted average dumping margin of Xinguang Steel International Co., Ltd. and Ye Lian Steel Co., Ltd., which were sampled, was as high as 21.10%.

It is worth noting that the U.S. Department of Commerce confirmed that Ye Hui Steel Co., Ltd. did not export the products involved in the case to the United States during the investigation period, and the other 22 companies participating in the review did not suspend customs clearance.
